In today’s edition of hacking, feast your eyes on the latest sight to see in Austin. No, it’s not another wall of graffiti or a brightly-painted food truck. It’s something much more dear to Longhorns’ hearts.

Recently, a hacked traffic sign revealed UT Austin’s true sentiments toward Oklahoma University. At the corners of Rio Grande and 24th Street, the lone sign expresses a very important message to all denizens passing by: OU STILL SUCKS.

Possibly even better is that the sign rotates from “OU STILL SUCKS” to “No Cargo Shorts”. We can’t help but wonder where the no cargo shorts bit came from, but either way, there probably aren’t traffic cams around to report any cargo shorts-wearers in the vicinity.

KXAN reported that the public works department hired out a private contractor to set up the sign, so there’s no doubt a Longhorn is probably responsible for this hilarious sign hack. The search is on to find the perpetrator though, but nothing should happen to this Good Samaritan who was just having some fun.

It’s just so silly that it hardly borderlines on offensive because honestly, if you’re in Austin, you should probably think that OU sucks, bottom line. We can all use a little laugh every day.
