A radius of 791 miles from any point on the circumference of the state of Texas provides a broad swath in which to travel. What this means is that the width of the Lone Star State can be travelled as far out as California to the west, spanning five additional states to the east, as far north as Lake Michigan, and reaching as far south as Guatemala.
