Last week, MySA.com reported that Amigo, Bo Badouh’s red fox lab, was stolen along with his truck at the North Star Mall in San Antonio. Badouh says Amigo travels everywhere he goes, but unfortunately, the pup wasn’t allowed inside of the mall while he got a haircut. Badouh left his 2016 GMC truck running in the mall parking lot but says he made sure to lock the doors. When he came back outside, he saw that his truck had vanished with his best friend Amigo as an unwilling passenger.

“I don’t care about the car. They can keep the truck and all the cash. It is what it is. But I just want my dog back,” Badouh said. The mall’s security cameras didn’t help much, and his OnStar system was disengaged. Desperate, he offered an award for the return of his beloved pooch.

Thankfully, this story has a happy ending. KENS 5 recently reported that an anonymous caller got in touch with Badouh and said his dog was at a park on the west side of San Antonio. Though his truck is still missing, Badouh is overjoyed to have his companion back, and the dog seems pretty relieved too. “I went and picked Amigo up, and he is so happy to be home,” Badouh told the news.
