Little Allison Anderwald is now a hero! The 5-year-old saving her mother from drowning in a pool near Corpus Christi, Texas was captured on their home security camera.
Allison and her mother, Tracy, were taking a nice swim in their backyard pool when things went awry. Tracy had a seizure and fell unconscious in the water.
The little girl acted quickly and jumped in to save her mother. After multiple attempts, Allison successfully pulled her mother to the shallow end of the pool. Once she was able to bring her mother’s head above water, she ran inside to get her Aunt who helped finish pulling Tracy out of the water.
Allison, who’s been swimming since she was two-and-a-half, was able to think fast to rescue her mother. Tracy says that when she woke up in the hospital, she had no idea where she was and didn’t even realize what had happened.
Allison was too shy to talk to KRISTV , but her aunt says that Allison’s ability to pull her mom to safety was truly a “miracle. We have to agree.
Tracy is making a full recovery and not expected to have any long-term injuries.
