There’s no better place to experience the charm of the Texas Hill Country during the holidays than in Boerne, Texas. For the 18th year, Boerne will kick off the season with Dickens on Main, a vintage holiday celebration held in scenic, downtown Boerne (also known as Boerne’s “Hill Country Mile”). On Thanksgiving weekend, Friday, November 24th, and Saturday, November 25th, Boerne’s Main Street will be transformed into a Christmas of yore, with lights, entertainment, shopping, and even SNOW!
Meet Real, Live Reindeer!
Bring the whole family and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season and get your holiday shopping off to a nice start to boot! Dickens on Main will feature ice sculpting and music, theatrical performances, kids crafts, and an amazing 60-foot ice slide for sledding! Food trucks and unique vendors of all types will be in attendance throughout the venue. Say “cheese!” as photo ops with Victorian-themed revelers are always a delight. New to Dickens on Main this year is “Reindeer Village,” where you will find live reindeer and more from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. each night.
