5 Reasons to Get Yourself to Comanche

Constructed in 1856 when Cora, Texas, was the county seat, the twelve-foot square log courthouse is considered by most to be the last surviving building of its kind in the state. When the county seat was moved to the town of Comanche in 1859, Old Cora became a private residence. In the early 1980s, the historic courthouse was moved to its current home on the town square.
