Dallas visitors, this is your one-time chance to get a luxury hotel experience at a special Grand Opening rate.

Texican Court, soon to celebrate its Grand Opening in Las Colinas (in Irving’s Las Colinas urban center), will be the newest in a family of upscale hotels created by Valencia Group. Valencia’s retro-inspired hotels have become sought-after retreats and event spaces, especially in Texas: you may have come across the midcentury-themed Lone Star Court in Austin (virtual tour here!), or the retro-military Cavalry Court at College Station. Right now, you can book a stay at some very wallet-friendly Grand Opening rates.

Here’s why you should be excited about this.

While all the locations reflect the owners’ love of music and double as performance venues for local and nationally acclaimed artists, Texican Court sets itself apart with a theme that hits home with Texans: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!

“We wanted to bring the theme song from the Spaghetti Western film, ‘The Good, The Bad and The Ugly,’ to life through the design of this hotel,” said Valencia Group President Doyle A. Graham, Jr.

It’s definitely an intriguing idea… so we got hold of some concept art to preview how this is going to come to life.

When you walk in, you’ll see this beautiful reflecting pool. Its intended to express the feeling of the beginning of the song.

Directly beyond the reflecting pool, while they’re taking your luggage to your room, you’ll have a drink at this one-of-a-kind tequila bar made of reclaimed wood from a barn, concrete, sunset-colored tiles, and galvanized metal.

The rooms are where your entire everyday life will melt away. The furniture will be made from raw steel and lightly finished wood wrapped with distressed leather. The distinctive custom designed couch will be inspired by a pickup bench seat and draped in a Mexican saddle blanket.

Below is a picture of the most common room type, which will be in the “Courts” style, with the bed at the center and the bathroom in the back.

Your room will open into a courtyard. There will be three different courtyards at Texican Court, which they’re calling Il Buono, Il Brutto, and Il Cattivo (The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly). Each one will have its own distinctly escapist vibe, right in the middle of the city.

Finally, the Two Mules Cantina restaurant/bar promises a well-crafted ambiance and (of course) culinary experience suited to a healthy Texican appetite.

Very conveniently, Texican Court will be served by the DART Orange Line and as well as the Las Colinas People Mover System. The popular destination is adjacent to the Irving Convention Center and the new Toyota Music Factory, complete with its state-of-the-art concert pavilion and multiple dining and entertainment options.

Now that you’ve had this sneak peek,  here’s where you can reserve your stay to have the cool experience of seeing all this come together in real life.
