Touring the San Antonio River Walk and taking in some great local eats in the process, video blogger Perfect Little Planet has posted a great mini tutorial to their YouTube channel. Those of us who haven’t yet experienced one of the Texas Hill Country’s greatest attractions can do so vicariously through this awesome video.

Brian (the vlog host) meets up with his friends Veronika and Andrea to “…explore a few areas of San Antonio’s famous River Walk and eat some local favorite foods.” Their first foodie stop is a great hot dog stand that gets most of its business when the clubs and bars close down – it’s no wonder once you see the amazing food they’re serving up! Couple that with carriage rides, a river walk boat tour, a visit to the Tower of Friendship, and an honorable mention to the Tower of the Americas, and you have the makings of a wonderful tour on the town.

Their next stop along the way consists of the Pearl District, including San Antonio’s only five-star hotel, as well as a tour of what once was the Pearl Brewery, including VIP seating inside the vats where the beer used to be made! Finally, they cap the vlog off with a trip to The Culinary Institute of America and an ice cream tasting that looks amazing – all in San Antonio! If you’ve yet to experience the River Walk and want to know what you can expect, this video gives you a great sampling. With 10 miles to experience throughout the city, you can just imagine the adventures (and food) that await!
