Walkway of Lights is the largest holiday celebration in the Highland Lakes area. It’s a favorite event for many Texas families—not to mention many families who travel from all over the world every year to attend! The event features over 200 sculptures (many of which have been upgraded and fitted with eco-friendly LED lights for this year) and millions of lights that fascinate everyone—young and old, year after year. Families have grown fond of the atmosphere of holiday charm with a twist of nostalgia that Walkway of Lights provides.
Walkway of Lights: November 16 through December 26

This FREE event kicks off this year on November 16 at the Light Up Parade that sets the tone for the season with marching bands, floats, and other festive surprises. Walkway of Lights will be held at Lakeside Park from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. nightly, from November 16 through December 26 and features a whimsical “Santaland” on weekends, where visitors can share their Christmas wishes with the “jolly old elf” and get their photo made with him as well.
Concessions will also be available, sold by local non-profit members of the chamber of commerce. So grab some goodies and help this hard-working community continue doing good deeds for the residents of the Highlands Lake area. The good news is that recent flooding in the Marble Falls area failed to dampen the spirit of the citizens hosting Walkway of Lights. Crews have been out assessing the damage to Lakeside Park and working overtime to get the area ready for the event.
