Our friendly neighborhood burger restaurant, Whataburger, is going into the wedding business with Whatawedding. Wedding chapels have no need for concern, though—their wedding offer is only for Valentine’s Day. Press materials tell us Whataburger wants to “celebrate the love customers have for each other” by offering them a chance to get married or repeat their wedding vows at select locations on February 14.
“From engagement photos to wedding cakes and cookies… our fans find creative ways to include Whataburger in their big day,” said Pam Cox, Whataburger VP for Human Resources and Brand Communication. “Nothing says love at first bite like wedding bells at Whataburger,” she added.

Winners of Whatawedding can also invite a select number of guests to attend. One lucky couple also wins a cash prize of $5,000 on top of their wedding expenses.
Whataburger locations in six Texas cities are participating in Whatawedding. These restaurants are located in Grand Prairie, Fort Worth, San Antonio, College Station, Houston, and of course, the original home of Whataburger, Corpus Christi. The winning couple in Corpus Christi receives an upgraded floral package and a video package.

Enter to win a chance to tie the knot at one of the six Whataburger locations. Simply fill out a wedding request form, available at whataburgerwedding.com. Provide your name, phone number, email address, and preferred city. List whether you are applying to get married or renew vows. Send a photo of the couple, plus a 500 word or less essay on your love story.
Your essay should also explain why you want to get married at Whataburger, but keep it short and sweet, since essays over 500 words in length will be tossed.
For those who want to renew their vows, there are no entries. The vow renewal offer is open to any couple on February 14, between the hours of 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Just choose one of the specified Whataburger restaurants and apply online. An officiant will be on hand at each location to hear vow renewals, but only for those who have reserved a slot online. No walkups!
