This year, the Wildflower Arts & Music Festival will be held from May 18 to May 20, featuring a number of musical acts and covering six stages. Managed by the City of Richardson Parks and Recreation Department, the festival never fails to impress, and each year it includes top-name acts. Past performers include The B-52s, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The All-American Rejects to name a few. The variety of music performed at the festival includes some big band, country, children’s music, Cajun/zydeco, folk/acoustic, rockabilly, jazz, pop, reggae and, of course, good ol’ rock n’ roll. The festival will also have excellent regional cuisine and a variety of creative arts available for sale by local vendors.
