Willie Nelson Makes Surprise Appearance at SXSW

Willie Nelson surprised crowds at South by Southwest on Sunday evening with a surprise appearance at the popup Spotify House.

The Red Headed Stranger performed a full set that included classics from his more than 60-year-long career.

Nelson also performed in the Music Capital last week at the Austin Rodeo.

The two shows won’t be the only concerts Nelson performs during South By Southwest 2016. On Friday, he’s hosting his annual Luck Reunion on his ranch in Luck, Texas. The all-day music festival features some of the best up-and-coming country and Americana artists from around the country. The event is currently in its 30th year. Proceeds will benefit Wholesome Wave, the environmental nonprofit Reverb, HAAM (Health Alliance for Austin Musicians) and SIMS Foundation. Tickets to the event are sold out.
