The famous Wimberley Market Days is the largest outdoor market in the Texas Hill Country and the second-largest in the Lone Star State. There are well over 475 booths and vendors. Strolling the tree-shaded paths, listening to live music, and visiting with folks from all over is a great way to spend a day. Besides, you may actually find that one-of-a-kind home decor piece you’ve been searching for all this time.
Concessions stands are located within the grounds where you’ll find the best eats and drinks to keep you cool, energized, and shopping. YUM! You can almost smell the wonderful aromas coming from here.
Head out to Wimberley Market Days Saturday, July 2, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Three large parking lots provide plentiful parking. Admission is free to the market so come out and enjoy!
3. Who Doesn’t Love a Parade?
An enormous banner stretches across the entire street carried by people in costumes. Big festive lettering announces “Happy Fourth of July.” The band marches around the corner, drums pounding, horns blaring, and tuba booming. Bang goes the cymbals! The crowd goes wild. Everyone cheers as the baton twirlers pass them by in the city street. Men, women, and children alike wave their American flags. It’s a sight to behold.
