We’re not exactly sure why we own laser pointers anyway. Maybe we feel more special, or it’s a throwback to our feelings of inadequacy from when the teacher used to call on us in class. Either way, we’ve all seen the hilarious videos on AFV or YouTube that show the hours of amusement that can be derived from playing with the cat using one of these gadgets, and they never get old! We weren’t really going to make a serious presentation at home, after all, and the salesman at Staples knows that just as much as we do.

Kids these days get some phenomenal gifts, not only from their moms and dads, but grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and guilty next-door neighbors who may have hollered at them a time or twenty! If you’re anywhere between the ages of 33 and 93, you remember Christmases that didn’t necessarily include a PDA, a smartphone, or a laptop.
