You Won’t Believe What’s Inside This Rustic Texas Barn
This beautiful barn looks like its been a part of this expansive Texas landscape for decades. In reality, this 19th century building was moved across the country after being saved from crumbling to the ground.
Heritage Restorations stepped in and transported this incredible vintage barn from its original location in Waterloo, NY. After years of neglect, the 840-square-foot barn was on the verge of collapsing. Thanks to a lot of hard work and an incredible design, this building has a brand new life in McKinney, Texas.
Now, this eyesore has become one of the coolest houses in Texas. After being rebuilt with vintage materials, this cozy barn has lots of rustic charm.
The open floor plan makes the barn feel spacious and authentic. A mixture of light and dark woods were used as the main design element throughout.
Cozy, country-style furniture gives the lower floor a distinctly homey feel.
There’s no reason to worry about running out of space here. There’s plenty of room for entertaining all of your friends and family.
Salvaged wood and vintage Texas license plates were used to make this unique staircase.
Under the loft area, there’s plenty more space for storage and seating.
The new area upstairs is the perfect nighttime retreat. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a book or take a quick nap.
There’s even a beautiful deck area outside that features plenty of room to soak in the scenic surroundings.
