On Monday, Jordan Benedict posted an incredible story on Facebook of how he scored his World Series Game 2 tickets. According to the post, he was looking on ticketing resale site StubHub to see how much he would need to pay to make it to the game. What he quickly found was a pair of tickets posted at $9.08 each. Of course, he assumed it was an error, but he went ahead and snagged the tickets. Afterwards, Benedict felt strange about the transaction, so he notified customer service.

StubHub confirmed that the price on the listing was a mistake, and unfortunately, they would need to take the tickets back. Benedict understood, but later received a call from a supervisor. “This amazing person told me that since it was such an unprecedented event for #MLB #WorldSeries tickets being purchased at such a low price they were going to honor the purchase price and give me 2 tickets in a similar area of the stadium,” he wrote.

Now, when you check StubHub for Friday night’s game at Minute Maid Stadium in Houston, the cheapest ticket is $580 for seats in the outfield deck. The most expensive ticket, on the other hand, reaches a mind-boggling $16,250 for a spot in the Diamond Club!
