When it comes to trying out new places, be it a restaurant or a barber shop, people either swear by Yelp or just don’t trust it at all. That’s for good reason, too, because you’re never quite sure who leaves those scathing reviews of a business just as well as who seems to be a die-hard fan.

However, despite Yelp’s uncertainties, the company released its 2016 list of the Top 100 Best Places to Eat in the United States. Texas holds five restaurants on the list, including one in the Top 10. Can you guess which?

That’s right, Austin’s own Franklin Barbecue ranks number 9 on the list of the best places to eat. The other four selections? Ranking at #48 is Kenny’s Wood Fired Grill in Dallas, Austin’s Uchi stands at #59, Houston’s Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse is #75, and Uchiko in Austin ranks at #97.

So what are the guidelines for this list? Yelp’s Top 100 Best Places to Eat “honors businesses that rank so highly in the Yelp community’s opinion that they have earned the status of ‘must try within this lifetime.'” With a standard like that, I would agree that Franklin Barbecue earns the ninth spot completely.

Life just isn’t complete without throwing a cold one back in the Franklin line, surrounded by your friends and family, soaking up that good ol’ Hill Country sunshine.
