In much the same way we celebrate Mardi Gras and any other special day that didn’t necessarily originate in Texas, we also like to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Generally, we indulge in some traditional Irish meals, take in a parade or two, and sometimes we turn the San Antonio River Walk area green from tip to toe (literally). To make even more fun out of the occasion, there are also green drinks we’ve been known to imbibe, not the least of which will be this little doozy. Jolly Rancher infused vodka in Sour Apple is the green treat you’ve been waiting for.

This isn’t a drink you’ll simply get by dropping a couple of candies in a glass of vodka. This takes some time and a modicum of effort, so get prepared in advance if you’re looking to indulge on March 17. The results are said to be fabulous – both tasty and not too hard on the eyes. You know, kind of like that delivery driver that brought the last Amazon package to your door… But we digress. They say it takes 12 to 14 hours for a batch of the Jolly Rancher infused vodka to come about with minimal effort.
