As the Cowboy Capital of the World, Bandera owes a lot to its roots, and you can experience life in the Old West with re-enactments, such as the one from the Bandera Cattle Company Gunfighters. Check it out on Saturday at noon and 2 p.m. behind the Bandera County Visitor’s Center at Snake Ranch Ridge. This is one of two Bandera events this weekend where you can see cowboys in action.

Between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. every Saturday, talk with a cowboy on Main Street in downtown Bandera. Look for the cowboys at the Bandera County Courthouse for a glimpse of life in old Bandera. This event comes from the Bandera Business Association to promote knowledge of the town’s history.
