Located in Williamson County, Cedar Park has a population on the brink of 70K and is nestled in close proximity to the city of Austin. In only 40 years, this town has blossomed from its humble beginnings of just 700 people. Featured on the WebsEdgeGovernment YouTube channel, this growing and prosperous community is just right for a visit in the Texas Hill Country.

Now home to the Texas Stars AHL team (an affiliate of the Dallas Stars), not to mention great shopping, excellent dining options, and a wonderful atmosphere for residents as well as visitors, Cedar Park is an ever-growing mecca of amenities and accommodations that make visiting a breeze. Situated nicely in central Texas, the townspeople have focused on making their community accessible and enjoyable to all Texans, as well as out-of-state visitors. In the process, they’ve become an active part of the planning and growth of their area.

Those who go for the shopping in Cedar Park love 1890 Ranch, which is an 850K-square-foot retail facility featuring great anchor stores among the 75 different shops available on this 100-acre property. Among the major infrastructure and growth/development projects in the area, the town has created more than 3,000 jobs, making Cedar Park a great place to live, grow, and eventually, retire. Not only that, but they did so by designing larger city amenities while retaining their small-town atmosphere. If you haven’t yet been to Cedar Park, in the Texas Hill Country, plan a trip at your earliest convenience. They’re growing to suit your needs and good times that are yet to be had!
