Be aware of your own learning style and how to apply that to your various classes. Learn to prioritize projects and assignments by how large they are and how much assistance you may need to complete them. Check in weekly with your syllabus and projects. A weekly study group or meeting with a tutor will help the learning process move smoothly.

If you’re new to the campus, take a new student orientation so you will be familiar with what amenities and extra-curricular groups are available. If you’re a little more seasoned, make sure to introduce yourself to others in your classes. These will be the people who help you through the next few months to complete the course. They’ll be ready with notes if you have to miss a class and will work side by side with you in study groups and labs. Above all else, remember that you are not alone in your pursuit
