Chick-fil-A has been on the lips and in the bellies of many a Texan. Their sauce is amazing, the menu has some creativity mixed with some classics, and their service is top-of-the-line. It also has the cheapest franchise fee, which makes it one of the easiest fast-food restaurants to open.

Some sources have reported that it only costs $10K to open a Chick-fil-A franchise. That’s a small price to pay for a piece of the eighth highest fast-food restaurant sales in America. In comparison, if you’re looking to set up a pair of golden arches in your hometown, it can run you anywhere between $1 million and $2.3 million, in addition to the $45K franchise fee. With a Chick-fil-A franchise, the company pays for all of the owner’s start-up costs. There’s also no specified liquidity or net worth for the buyer. That’s because the company’s interest is in finding the right owner. This is why only 80 applicants are selected annually out of the 20K franchise requests they receive.

In an interview with Business Insider, Chick-fil-A spokeswoman Amanda Hannah stated, “We seek to find the very best business partners who find great joy in making other people’s days. They do so with a combination of great business acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for serving others. Chick-fil-A operators must be as comfortable rolling up their sleeves in the kitchen as they are shaking hands in the dining room.” If you haven’t yet found the franchise you’re hoping to establish here in Texas, you might want to consider a Chick-fil-A. At a reported cost of $10,000, it’s a heck of a deal, and you’ll have access to all the sauce you can get your hands on, provided you’re the right kind of applicant! So will you be applying for a franchise license from Chick-fil-A? Let us know how it goes!
