Little Dog Flubs Obstacle Course in Funniest Ways Possible
Every year the Crufts dog show in the United Kingdom holds an agility contest where participating dogs run through an obstacle course lead by their coach. Usually, mistakes consist of missing a stake to weave in and out of or hitting a bar during a jump, not completely nose-diving into the ground like this little Jack Russell did! But little Olly isn’t a normal agility contestant. As NPR says, he’s now “earned the world’s enduring admiration…”
In the video uploaded by Crufts, the announcer delights in Olly’s hyper, happy and unpredictable run through the course. “Olly is totally crazy, as you can see. He’s having a ball,” the Today show quotes the commentator. Everyone in the audience seemed to adore the dog as well, noticing that the Jack Russell was having the most fun he could possibly muster.
Olly’s run might remind viewers of the lovable beagle named Mia who ran the Westminster Dog Show obstacle course last month. Instead of nearly flying off the top of an obstacle, Mia took the time to steal a sniff or two during her moment in the spotlight. Perhaps Mia and Olly should join forces for the most chaotic, but very cute, agility course duo run in history!
