Truly Texan in nature, Hill Country Distillers features adult beverage favorites. Texas Prickly Pear Cactus Spirits are not infused but instead fermented and single distilled out of nopales. It’s 102 proof and considered roughly between tequila and vodka. Texas Jalapeño Moonshine is also not infused but fermented and single distilled. Fresh green jalapeno is the initial taste, which makes this spirit popular in Bloody Marys. Previously mentioned Texas Revenge Gin is ultra-smooth via cactus, Ashe Juniper berries, orange peel, lemon peel, and cinnamon sticks. Barrel Aged Prickly Pear Cactus Moonshine will soon have ‘moonshine’ removed from its name because its scares people away from this refreshing spirit! Its unique flavor is obtained by aging in used bourbon barrels and new charred oak barrels. The Texas Dulce line starts as moonshine and is then infused only with hand zested fresh fruits, distilled rainwater, and simple syrup. Seasonal products are also created, and brandy is next on the distillery list! Try one for yourself to see just what drinking Texas tastes like.
