Feel Like a King of the Road: Drive the 2019 Ford F-150 4X2 Supercrew

Aside from trying to shop for the holidays in crowded malls, the F-150 Supercrew is a great vehicle to take down the road. With its 3.5 liter V-6 Eco-boost high output engine operating on electronic 10-speed automatic transmission, the F-150 stands elegantly tall and regal on 22-inch polished aluminum wheels. The interior is equally elegant, swathed in Camelback Tutone Lux leather with genuine wood accents. There’s a power-operated running board that comes out to allow you to enter and exit the truck easily. I also liked the twin-panel moon roof in the over-sized cabin, bringing so much light inside.

The 360-degree camera helps the driver see all around the truck. Like all Ford products, driver controls are extremely easy to operate. I love the fact no fuel caps are used on Ford gas tanks, which makes stopping for fuel so much easier than trying to wrestle with opening a fuel cap. The 8.0 center stack touchscreen, plus blind spot warning, with cross traffic alert and pre-collision assist with automatic braking are excellent features that assist drivers.

The starting price for the 2019 F-150 was $67,136. Ford had added options like a trailer tow package, tailgate step, truck bed liner, and floor liner that brought the MSRP for the test vehicle (with destination charges) to $71,150. Estimated fuel economy is 17 mpg in town and 22 mpg on the highway, for an average of 19 mpg.
