Did you know that Houston has “what’s being billed as the world’s largest indoor playground for young children?” According to ABC 13, the 3,000 square-foot, exciting play place is called Frolic’s Castle. Residing inside of Memorial City Mall, the indoor park’s original character, Frolic, is a green dragon who’s married to Felicity, a purple dragon. Their son, Puffy, is a green dragon adorably adorned with purple wings.

Frolic’s mythical world full of color and cute characters welcomes about 1,000 visitors in a week! Entrance to the play area is free, so parents can drop by with their kids before visiting a store or two inside the mall. Though it could be very difficult to tear a child away from the imaginative world of Frolic once they’re inside!

On the Memorial City website, they explain a bit more specifically that Frolic’s Castle is actually the “world’s largest indoor soft play area in a shopping center.” The otherworldly land spans three levels, but is ADA accessible so everyone who’s 4’ and under can take part in the interactive elements that include “a snoring giant, a bubbling cauldron, a grumpy ogre and other fanciful creatures such as a frog prince and a baby dragon.” There’s also an area intended for toddlers to play in dedicated to Puffy.
