Among the variety of great songs from various genres that she’s proven she can sing (with flare, no less), “Fooled Around and Fell in Love” is a recent video release that Miranda Lambert fans will be raving about for some time to come! As part of Lambert’s return to touring and the release of her latest albums, this video was captured with the addition of such talent as Maren Morris, Elle King, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes, and Caylee Hammack. It was released to the official Miranda Lambert YouTube channel in September of this year, and it’s posted below for fans to hear.
Fooled Around and Fell in Love was originally written and performed by Elvin Bishop. The famed blues guitarist first released it on his 1975 album entitled “Struttin’ My Stuff,” and then as a single in 1976. The song climbed to number three on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in 1976. It has since been featured in a variety of movies, including one more recently made for Netflix in 2017.

The video for the Miranda Lambert cover of “Fooled Around and Fell in Love” has been viewed on the Miranda Lambert YouTube channel close to 2 million times since its release in the fall. Her latest tour, together with a new album release by the Pistol Annies, her recent marriage, and the exciting past year she’s had in the industry has been amazing for the singer, as well as her fans. She continues to incorporate new sounds and songs into her setlists which her audiences both love and relate to. And this cover is no exception.
Her YouTube channel also features the video for “It All Comes Out in the Wash,” which comes from her upcoming album, “Wildcard.” Co-written by Lambert, the song was meant to focus on getting over personal trials and tribulations. While sharing the details of her life with her fans has endeared her to them completely, that is solidified even further as they look up to her for inspiration in some of their own personal matters. They purchase tickets to her most recent tour dates, have seen shows with the Pistol Annies, and support Miranda in every endeavor that she sees fit to share. Tickets to future dates for her Wildcard Tour, featuring special guests (and fellow Texas troubadour) Cody Johnson, as well as Lanco, can be purchased at the link provided here if you have a Miranda Lambert fan on your hands for the holidays!
