Famous for stories of ghosts and haunting, the Magnolia Hotel in Seguin, Texas, is capitalizing on its history with scheduled overnight stays. Those wanting a paranormal night with some poltergeists may want to check out this Texas hot spot for spooks.

Magnolia Hotel owners Jim and Erin Ghedi will commence taking reservations on August 12, 2019. This will include overnight accommodations in a suite which is fully restored, having two bedrooms, a full bath with a walk-in shower, a non-cooking kitchen, and a living room. This will comfortably sleep four guests, and bookings will be available from Monday to Thursday. No waiting list will be available, and you will only be able to reserve your spooky suite through the hotel website.

The rooms are in the south section of the second floor of the Magnolia Hotel, which has been in existence since the 19th century. The current owners began managing the property in 2013. Following six years of renovations, the overnight stays are finally being announced. The Ghedis announced on the hotel website that the hotel “exploded with paranormal activity causing the loss of contractors and bringing the restoration to a halt.” In spite of that, they’ve continued on with their work.

The owners have stated that a famed Texas psychic was hired to identify the spirits said to be haunting the Magnolia. They’ve fully embraced that their property is accommodating things other than potential living guests and are prepared to begin accepting stays and tours. However, they’ve cautioned that such services as the latter aren’t for those who identify as fraidy-cats. Texas appears to be full of bravado, because there are three such tours completely sold-out. Those of you looking to get a taste of what you might be in for with an overnight stay can schedule a tour on the Magnolia Hotel website at the link available here. Then, if you dare, you can reserve an overnight stay when the spirit calls you.
