To celebrate the last few days of summer, plan to head over to San Marcos’ Art-Squared Market and Bubble Fest on Saturday, August 12 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in downtown San Marcos on the Hays County Courthouse grounds. Also in attendance will be an incredible group of Texas artists and live music for all. Come enjoy bubble activities for kids of all ages, crafts, and TONS of bubbles from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. that day.

Experts recommend that the best formula for making large, long-lasting bubbles is 95% water, 3% dish soap and 2% glycerine. These easily accessible ingredients can delight children and adults for hours. So, if you enjoy the bubbles at Bubble Fest, you can try to recreate some of the bubble magic at home.

The Arts Market and Bubble Fest features all kinds of fun and free activities involving all things bubbly. Bring the family and shop for some specially handmade artwork – they’ll have it all from 2D to 3D (and everything in between). The Art Market is also conveniently located next to the San Marcos Farmers’ Market, so don’t miss out on your fresh local produce!

Art Squared Arts Market was launched in March of 2014. Since the inaugural launch, the Arts Market has had tremendous growth both in artists’ participation and with the public interest. The vision of Art Squared is to be a catalyst for the advancement of the arts and art makers, as well as a contributor in helping to make San Marcos a destination for cultural experiences for our local community and visitors alike.
