Without even having been completed, a new custom-home neighborhood in the Texas Hill Country is raising eyebrows and earning accolades. Friedën, the new Fredericksburg neighborhood that’s in the process of being constructed, has earned the prestigious honor of being the first Texas community included in the Southern Living Inspired Community list by the magazine of the same name.
Touching on all things Southern, including lifestyle and values, this list encompasses communities with great aesthetic and appeal. It features properties in Alabama, Georgia, and the Carolinas, among others. Friedën is the first Texas community to become a part of this select group. Of this recognition, Skip Preble, Heirloom Communities CEO, told chron.com: “It’s an incredible opportunity for our community to be recognized by Southern Living, and to be in such great company. They believe in our idea of a community of modern farmhouses, and we think Friedën is in line with the Southern Living lifestyle. Their support will be a huge help when lot selection opens.” Located south of the downtown Fredericksburg core, Friedën is a 220-acre master-planned community consisting of a variety of modern-farmhouse-style homes in varying price points.
