Showcasing creative and inspiring ways to have fun, the Don Harrington Discovery Center in Amarillo has the makings of a Texas-sized good time with their Spring Break Spectacular event, happening March 11-15, 2019. With a little bit of adrenaline as its main ingredient, the Spring Break Spectacular at Don Harrington Discovery Center starts off with “The Jumanji Trials” on Monday, March 11, 2019. Think back to when this Disney movie first came out and how much you enjoyed watching everything the players went through. Then refocus for the remake that your kids watched and, of course, loved (because hey, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree). You’ll understand exactly why this day is going to be a ton of fun. It’s truly a “game for those who seek to find a way to leave their world behind.” Visitors to the DHDC can participate in creating their own board game using recycled materials, watch demonstrations featuring live animals including snakes and spiders, and create their own camouflage at the Face Painting Station!
