Texas News Anchors Rank Among the Top 50 Hottest Anchors in the World

News anchors across the globe bring the latest news updates into our homes each day. Along with that information, it doesn’t hurt that some are pretty darn cute. In a recent article by Buzzfeed, they ranked the top male news anchors in the world and compiled a list of the top 50 hottest anchors. Of these 50 it was nice to see four anchors hail right here from the great state of Texas.

Coming in at #49 is Jordan Steele from the local CBS station KEYE in Austin, Texas. Steele is proud to call Austin home and is the Meteorologist who brings years of forecasting experience to his community.

According to his biography, in 2006 he was on the “Price Is Right” with Bob Barker and played a grocery game that won him a trip to Portugal. “He’s all about life experiences. If you can think of it, he’s probably done it. Jordan is a big enthusiast about getting people outside. That`s one of the main reasons he moved here — the outdoor life.” What made him hot according to Buzzfeed, winning his trip to Portugal.

David Yeomans from KXAN in Austin, Texas

Coming in at #47 is David Yeomans from the NBC affiliate KXAN in Austin, Texas. Yeomans is the weekday morning Meteorologist. According to his biography, Yeomans had a curiosity about meteorology at an early age and would check out stacks of books from the library to learn as much as he could.

“After Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans in 2005, David helped rebuild the upper-Ninth Ward neighborhood with Habitat for Humanity, serving as an assistant carpenter.” According to Buzzfeed, this is what made him hot.
