A boutique-style bed and breakfast featuring fine dining on a 300-acre ranch is the wine lover’s paradise that exists at Rancho Loma Vineyards. In 2016, its owners planted Rhone grapes on their ranch and opened the winery approximately 11 miles away in Coleman. Their product took home a gold and two silvers at the 2017 TexSom International Wine Competition, and their RLV III Still White, Reddy Vineyards, 2016, also laid claim to the “Judge’s Selection” award. Weekly events are held at the winery, including wine classes, tours, live music, and monthly winemaker dinners. Their tasting room features seasonal small-plate menus, and directly across the street is Rancho Pizzeria, which is also owned by the winery.
