Remember the days when we used to watch Wile E. Coyote chase after the Road Runner? At some point, he’d scratch his head, maybe get what he thought was a brilliant idea, and then miraculously, an Acme product would get shipped to him. We’d like to know what company found him in the middle of the desert for same-day delivery… but, we digress. The point is, in advance of today’s online shopping and advanced shipping techniques, that crazy coyote could get almost anything sent to him. Fast forward to today, and now you can get barn door kits, pillows and blanket that look like food, and even a tiny house. Although the concept of purchasing a building by mail-order isn’t something new (think Sears, Roebuck and Company), the thought of buying your home online is a stretch for some. But Amazon has made it quick and painless, and many are taking advantage.

You Can Buy a Tiny House From Amazon and We’re Thinking About It

Yes, you truly can purchase a tiny house on Amazon. They’re not something poorly-designed, lacking taste or style. They’re actual homes, with beauty and style. Now, don’t forget the saying is always “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” To someone who is an avid tiny home person, these truly do catch their eye and hold their attention. Would that necessarily mean someone here in Texas, with the size and grandeur that some of our homes are being built with would love the thought of buying a tiny house on Amazon? Not necessarily. But for others, it’s become a very viable option.

The decision to reside in a tiny house is no longer considered what some would once call a “craze.” The more information that’s become available to potential homeowners and those in the midst of life changes, the more feasible it seems to either start small, or for some, to downsize. If you’re a single person, or a young couple with one or two children (perhaps no children even), a tiny house makes perfect sense. If the zoning in your area allows for the concept, and you have land to put it on (many of us aren’t so lucky) then you’re already halfway there. Amazon is simply facilitating the decision with a little more ease. If you’re a retiree whose family has moved out or away and you’re looking to not have so much space and expense in your “second act,” a tiny house could be just the ticket. No longer do you need to consider a granny cabin in your family’s backyard, nor the option to move to a retirement village where you already feel you may not fit in. Purchasing a tiny house through Amazon could allow you the freedom to live where you like, in a style you like, with minimal issue.
A tiny house product from Amazon doesn’t mean everything is tiny. Most feature full-sized doors, large windows for lots of natural light, and generous height in the ceiling or loft areas. You can also purchase your home with such options as wrap-around porches (which allow for additional space outdoors) and beautiful design components to add flair and finesse. We think “rustic,” “elegant,” and even “dreamy” are the words that come to mind! These pint-sized places are really miniature mansions if you think about it. The options on Amazon can be found with the click of a mouse. The images in this article are just a sampling. If you want to see more, you can visit the link available here. Happy tiny house hunting!
