Back in July, we heard about a new, exciting water park opening in Grand Prairie that would stay open year round due to its retractable roof and climate control. Now, Epic Waters is finally opening just in time to break up the winter blues!

According to Guide Live, Epic Waters (located 2970 Epic Place in Grand Prairie) will have its grand opening day on January 12 where the first 50 people will get a free year pass, and the next 50 get a $100 gift card. For the rest of those who are ready to visit the park, the daily entry will cost between $5 – $30 depending on the person’s age and whether or not they live in Grand Prairie.

The water park will be kept around 85 degrees inside when the retractable roof is up. That way, thrill seekers can dive right in and take on rides like Lassoloop where riders are put into a capsule, dropped, and whooshed upside down before diving into the pool at the bottom of the drop. There’s also the “Rio Grand” lazy river, a kid’s area, and tons of slides and activities for the whole family. Catch a peek at the park in the video and photos below.

Hung out in the pool at 9:00 a.m. Happy January! 😆
