In addition to the Meet the Artists Gala, a live auction Benefit Sale in support of the Llano County Historical Museum is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2019. It will feature works of art contributed by each of the world-renowned artists accepted into the exhibit. The auction is being held at the museum in Llano, with the preview taking place at 3:00 p.m. with bidding commencing at 4:00 p.m. Items of fine art, in all mediums, and even such things as gorgeous and intricately painted gourds, will be on display for bidders’ review. The entire function is a must-attend, if not for the thrill of the bidding, then for the pure joy of taking ownership of a wonderful work of western art in support of a worthy cause.

This year’s Western Trappings event is excited to announce that a print show will also be held. With painters making up more than half of the artists accepted for exhibition, the ability to have them authorize and distribute prints, as well as original pieces, elevates the opportunities for art ownership by attendees. Each of the artists whose prints will be available for sale has authorized the event to incorporate their art in this respect. It means appreciative followers of their western topics and subject matter can easily take home a piece that will complement their own lifestyle and home.
