A WWE Star is Opening a Restaurant in San Antonio

Alberto Del Rio who reportedly has left the WWE after a brief suspension is not stepping away from other business ventures. The San Antonio resident has decided to open up a Mexican restaurant at the end of September called La Cantinita.

Del Rio is from Mexico, and he wants to bring authentic Mexican food to his current hometown with his new business. The bar and grill has its beginnings in Mexico with three other locations, but the north-side San Antonio location will be the first in the United States. The grand opening is set to take place on the last weekend of September.

MySA.com reports that the public is welcome to the hangout with celebrities at the opening. “YOU can be a part of the grand opening experience when we have a 2-day fun-filled extravaganza, you get to try amazing authentic food and drinks, mingle with celebrities, it’s kid friendly with a great outdoor area and also live music for you and the family to enjoy,” Del Rio wrote in a social media post.

La Cantinita will be located at 17776 Blanco Road.
