The San Antonio Cocktail Conference is coming up in the Texas Hill Country. If you’re in the industry or you simply love cocktails (and who doesn’t?!), you’re going to want to mark your calendars for January 15 – 19, 2020.
For eight years, the San Antonio Cocktail Conference has been the go-to relationship and networking hub for bartenders and those who love what they serve. Discussing the future of the cocktail and how innovation plays an integral role in the industry is the impetus for the conference. Notwithstanding that, homage is also paid to the past and the cocktail heyday, if you will, that generated some of the most popular drinks with which we still celebrate today. Not only that, but the San Antonio Cocktail Conference donates its profits to benefit children’s charities. The event “…was founded by Mark Bohanan, chef-owner of nationally renowned Bohanan’s Prime Steaks & Seafood and Peggy’s on the Green,” and is a “labor of love, which he created to help leave a lasting legacy for the city in addition to giving back monetarily in a big way to children’s charities. Now, nine years later, the annual festival takes place all over the city, spans five days, and is recognized as one of the best cocktail festivals in the country.”
