Each state has at least one thing they can brag about. Georgia has their peaches, Wisconsin has their cheese, and Idaho has their potatoes. However, there are things here in Texas that only Texans can brag about. Here are 12 of them:

2. Dr Pepper

Have one at 10, 2, and 4. Dr. Pepper was created in Texas and  is the drink of choice in this great state.

4. Texas State Fair

Howdy, folks! From Big Tex, to exhilarating rides, to all the fried foods you could ever want, Texas State Fair is the best in the country! Besides, who could say no to a Smoky Bacon Margaritas?

5. Luckenbach

Heck! It has a song named after it! Home to some of the best down home country music events in the state, Luckenbach should not be underestimated.

6. Rodeos

Houston takes the cake when it comes to who has the largest rodeo in the world. Other honorable mentions? Fort Worth, Bandera, Austin, San Antonio, and virtually any other city in Texas!

7. Schlitterbahn

What the heck is Schlitterbahn, you ask? Only the#1 water park in the world! And to make it better, it is soon going to be the home of the world’s tallest water coaster.

8. Billy Bob’s

Great music, great dancing, great BBQ, and indoor rodeos. Who could ask for more? It is the world’s largest Honky Tonk!

9. NASA
