It has been reported that a fatal collision occurred on the night of June 7, 2017, in the 12000 block of Texas State Highway 16. The Fredericksburg Standard Radio Post has identified on their social media outlets that a two-vehicle accident has taken the lives of three people, per a statement by the Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office.

The names of the victims from last night’s accident have not yet been released, however the Gillespie County Accident Data Center reports that an 82-year old female driver of a Toyota Camry, and her 83-year-old male passenger, both of Kerrville, passed away at the scene, and an 18-year-old male passenger in a Toyota Sequoia SUV later died in hospital as a result of his injuries. The Sequoia driver and his three additional passengers have been taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Further details have yet to be released regarding the accident or its circumstances. We will provide an update on the story as more information becomes available.
