The park includes volleyball and basketball courts, soccer fields and tennis courts, an RV park, a swimming pool, tent camping areas, BBQ pits, picnic tables, covered pavilions, hiking trails, playgrounds, and butterfly and bird watching. The Park is open from 5:00 AM- 10:00 PM in the Summer and 6:00 AM- 9:00 PM in the Winter.

Castroville is huge on hosting festivals throughout the year. Castroville is home to the annual St. Louis Day Celebration, annual Volksmarch, annual Old Fashion Christmas, and yearly Market Trail Days. Friday night Fever is held every month of the year.
