Start making your plans today, and YES, I do mean TODAY, for a real honest to goodness old-fashioned Christmas. Even if you’re not in the mood now, by the time you arrive in Comfort, Texas you’ll have the jolly ole Christmas spirit. This small town in The Texas Hill Country is a favorite place to go year ’round but the holidays are absolutely the best the Lone Star state has to offer. These friendly townsfolks have taken hometown pride to a whole new level. So, pack up your car, bring along the whole family, your friends, neighbors, and don’t forget the kids because they’re going to have a blast at Comfort’s 31st annual family Christmas.

Remember to prepare for the nightly events, throw some lawn chairs and blankets into the car for everyone. But sorry to say, Fido is not invited to this special event day or evening. Our canine buddies must be left at home for their own protection and safety. You can bring them back another time.

Get in the Christmas Spirit!

November 26th, that first Saturday after Thanksgiving, your wife is going to want to drag you to a crowded mall. Beat her to the punch by telling her you have a much better idea in mind. Remind her what Christmas is truly about and that “Christmas in Comfort” is one of the most popular holiday events in The Texas Hill Country. This town may be small, but it’s big on charm and holiday spirit. Beautiful lights line the streets and adorn the trees from top to bottom.  The daytime is festive and the evening  is aglow with brilliantly colored lights and shiny baubles.
