What is the definition of a cowboy? Merriam-Webster gives three definitions:

a man who rides a horse and whose job is to take care of cows or horses especially in the western U.S.

someone who has qualities that are commonly associated with the cowboys in movies; especially: someone who does things that other people consider foolish and dangerous
Is that all there is to a cowboy – a reckless rodeo performing character that takes care of cattle and horses? Or, is being a cowboy so much more than that? Certainly, that has to be the case! Chad Prather gives a rather different, more heartfelt definition in his YouTube video by dismissing the literal and even some of the obnoxious notions of what it takes to be the kind of man that has been idolized in many a Country-Western movie.
