This town was built in 1913 and named for a San Antonio businessman who helped build the Fredericksburg and Northern Railway. There are many homes in the area, but the town is long gone. It once had a hotel, lumberyard, school, post office, produce warehouse, and a water system. The townsite was along Cain City Road four miles southeast of Fredericksburg. Remember that this is all private property and wandering around outside of the road’s right-of-way without permission may upset the landowner.
