Autumn officially began on September 21, so it’s time for family fall fun. Plus, as we speak, the Texas Hill Country is ripe with pumpkin patches just waiting for your family to head on out and enjoy some great autumn activities! If jack-o-lanterns and roasted pumpkin seeds are on your list for fall-time fun, check out some of these great places to get in on the action.

1. Braune Farms Fresh Produce Pumpkin Patch, Seguin

Every year, Braune Farms Fresh Produce has a “you pick” pumpkin patch where visitors can cut their own pumpkin fresh from the vine. With that, they also have some great fall activities such as hayrides, a baby barnyard to visit, a corn pit, face painting, games, and so much more! Homemade goods and farm-fresh vegetables are also available.

2. Vogel Orchard, Fredericksburg

In the fall, the orchard boasts a real pick-your-own pumpkin patch together with a Fall Store. Visit their website or Facebook page for updates on when to visit and all the fun to anticipate!
