Found on what’s known as “The Magic Mile” in downtown Fredericksburg, Dooley’s is a throw back to days gone by.  In 1925 Tim Dooley’s grandfather opened the 5-10-25 store. Treasures like kitchen gadgets, cast iron kitchenware, belly button dusters and washboards can all be found along with actual 5 and ten cent items. Wooden floors and pressed metal ceilings adorn this quaint variety store. Dooley’s is definitely unique in that they pride themselves in employing people for a long time as well as carry Blue Waltz perfume. Lots of Christmas goodies can be found at Dooley’s 131 E. Main St., Fredericksburg, TX. Hours Monday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m. (Christmas Eve closing at 4 p.m.)
