Luckenbach is a small community located 13 miles away from Fredericksburg. The area has deep western roots and a small population which attributes to a ghost town feel. Because of this, the area is extremely unique place to visit. There is a working saloon, dance hall, and general store in the area. The general store has turned into a souvenir shop for visitors.
Country music is extremely popular in Luckenbach. Several distinguished artists have performed in the area, including Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, and Waylon Jennings. The community hosts several live music events, attracting all sorts of individuals. The town is brought to life with its exciting, ongoing music. The small city of Luckenbach is known for its ability to make everybody feel like somebody. The dancehall remains alive, thanks to all the private parties, weddings, birthdays, and receptions held at there.
RV camping spots are provided near a small creek. The creek does not allow swimming, although locals ignore the “no swimming” sign.
