Last year, Chip and Joanna Gaines opened Magnolia Table – a dining establishment in Waco for which the renovation job took approximately two years and was a full family effort. After a year of what appears to be “the Gaines effect” (Texas renovation and redevelopment at its finest), this restaurant is still going strong. Now they’ve added some new offerings featuring mouth-watering southern classics.

The menu mainstays that continue to bring the crowds back to Magnolia Table for more include such items as country-style biscuits and breakfast platters. However, the new carrot cake, lemon blueberry pancakes, and the new harvest wrap are additions that will have repeat customers racing for a spot against the newbies who will now lineup for a spot “where everyone has a seat at the table.”  That poignant phrase comes from the wall art found inside the restaurant.

This video clip from the Delish Facebook page shows Joanna Gaines giving a unique tour of Magnolia Table. Joanna was in the news recently when it was revealed that she’d begun to work with such high-profile clients as Jennifer Lopez. Chip and Joanna have certainly made a name for themselves as a design and renovation power couple. They’ve also put their mark on Waco in a big way, drawing new business, new visitors, and new fans to this Texas city at almost a fever pitch. And, their work projects appear to be endless. Most recently, we’ve been witness to their purchase of Waco’s historic Cottonland Castle, with an interior that’s truly a designer’s blank page, awaiting the couple’s gifted eyes and elbow grease. From a tasty Texas restaurant to a fantasy castle in the Lone Star State, one thing is for sure: this couple dreams big. What yet can we anticipate from these talented Texas? That remains to be seen, but we’re all for it.
