Trip Advisor, the website travelers always find themselves on when searching for reviews of hotels, attractions, and restaurants formed a list of the top 25 “Best Fine Dining Restaurants – United States.” The list starts off with Daniel in New York City and ends with GW Fins in New Orleans. In between lies only one restaurant in Texas, which is San Antonio’s Bliss.

After clicking on the link to Bliss’ review page on Trip Advisor, one can see that they maintain an 81 percent Excellent rating with customers praising their service, calm atmosphere, and of course, amazing food.

According to their website, Bliss specializes in “…upscale, contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on seasonal and fresh local ingredients. Our menu changes frequently with an emphasis on what is seasonal and creative over what is predictable and familiar.” Bliss’ head chef, Mark Bliss, was already known in San Antonio for his restaurant Silo. He opened Bliss in 2012.

Bliss is located at 926 S Presa Street in Southtown, not far from the Tower of the Americas and the Blue Star Complex. You can make a reservation here, which isn’t always required but is recommended. The dining room seats up to 52, and seasonally, there’s additional seating on the patio.
