At a time when most of the world news around us is bleak or grim, taking a minute to watch this little girl crack right up is worth it!

Posted to the Waggle TV YouTube channel in 2013, the video captioned “This baby girl thinks it is so hilarious when her father feeds the family dog popcorn she can’t take it!” has been watched over 4.5 million times! The channel is designed to share amazing and awesome pet videos. However, we think the baby steals the show.

Amid COVID-19 pandemic reopening headlines, social distancing requirements, and health and safety concerns throughout the state of Texas, it’s nice to just take a break and laugh until your sides hurt. Clearly, the little girl in the video above got a huge kick out of watching something so simple. It makes you wonder what part of it tickled her funny bone so much. Whether we find out or not, her laughing is the sort of contagious sound you won’t be able to keep from at least cracking a smile at!

The saying “laughter is the best medicine” isn’t just a random line someone decided to throw out there to sound smart. Instead, it’s actually backed by scientific study. According to healthguide.org, laughing helps to strengthen our immune systems, improves our moods, reduces pain, and helps to protect us from the harmful effects of stress. Although as adults we tend to find less and less things hilarious, as children, we used to laugh hundreds of times a day. As adults, life tends to be more serious, and looking for things to laugh at more often can improve our emotional health and help to strengthen our relationships. If you’re in the process of trying to find ways to lighten your days and search for greater happiness, watching videos like the one above can go a long way towards that!
